Based on the histogram of 144 regression data points, a linear interpolation looks pretty good using this approach. Results here indicate that by 2200, there will be an average of about 68 days per year above 90 degrees F. The interpolated average right now is a little over 40 days per year. In 1880 is was about 22 days per year.
Based on the same set of regression data points, an exponential interpolation can not be ruled out as another possibility using this approach. Results for this case indicate that by 2200, there will be an average of about 95 days per year above 90 degrees F.
